Dental implants

no one should sleep with teeth in a glass

What is a dental implant?

A dental implant is a titanium structure that replaces missing or damaged teeth.

They are fixed in the mandible or upper jaw, and allow one, several or all of the teeth in the mouth to be replaced.

The Drs. Corbella are experts in this discipline, where they have more than 20 years of experience.

Fixed teeth in a few hours

This methodology allows us to practically concentrate
all dental treatments, including general surgery, implantology, conservative dentistry, sanitation and prosthetics. We begin by carefully studying the patient's case, and then we organize it following our Intensive Dentistry protocol. Furthermore, thanks to the application of Monitored Sedation, the experience is much more comfortable and bearable for the patient.

Monitored sedation

Conscious or monitored sedation applied in dental implantology ensures that patients remain relaxed and comfortable during dental implant surgeries. A mild sedative is administered that allows the patient to remain conscious and collaborative, while reducing anxiety and discomfort. This improves the patient experience, facilitates cooperation, and contributes to a smoother, more effective procedure.

Specialists in cases of little bone

We use the most advanced techniques, thanks to which we are able to perform dental implantology procedures even in situations of bone shortage, restoring smiles with results that are just as long-lasting and natural as in standard cases. We resolve 99% of cases of little bone in the jaws, in which fixed teeth are also achieved on the first day.

FAQs

The answer today is usually YES, although it depends on the general health and bone density of each patient. Our dentists will evaluate if they are a viable option. Compared to dental bridges, implants usually have many more advantages.

The duration varies, but generally after the placement of the implants, we usually wait about 3 months until the dental crowns are placed.

It depends on multiple factors. If the patient has good hygiene, attends periodic check-ups, avoids bad habits and follows our recommendations, they can last for many years. There are factors external to the treatment, such as the patient's general health or hereditary conditions, that can influence the long-term success of dental implants.

No, local anesthesia is used during placement, and medication is given to avoid any postoperative discomfort. If the patient also wants the procedure to go unnoticed, conscious sedation can be applied.

The cost of a dental implant can vary significantly depending on factors such as the complexity of the case, the patient's bone conditions, the surgeon's experience, the brand of the implant, the crown material, among others. At Dental Corbella, we strive to provide implant treatments that seek excellence in all these aspects. In a free 1st visit, the case is studied and a no-obligation quote is made.
