Advanced Intensive Dentistry

Your dental treatment in one session

This is what we at Dental Corbella call Intensive Advanced Dentistry (IAD).

Thanks to this action protocol, we can concentrate most of the treatments that must be performed on the patient in very few appointments, and sometimes in just one, such as when we have to place implants and fixed teeth.

For the first appointment, a Conscious Sedation is applied, which in addition to helping the postoperative period, will allow the patient to be relaxed throughout the intervention.

menos es mas

The advantages of this technique are numerous:

  • It is safer, since it is performed under the supervision of our anesthesiologist.
  • It is less invasive, the treatments are concentrated in a single surgery and a single postoperative period.
  • It is faster. We are aware that patients prefer to visit the dentist as little as possible.

For all these reasons, we usually apply this protocol whenever we can, and for treatments such as extractions, dental implants, root canals, fillings, etc.

We created this protocol a long time ago, when we began to receive visits from patients who live outside of Madrid. As is normal, it was not practical to quote the patient for each treatment that had to be performed, so we thought that organizing it that way was much more practical, shortening the number of visits. And from there, and given the good reception, we have extended it to all our patients.

Almost all patients requiring any dental treatment are candidates. When Drs. Corbella, we can organize the treatment plan in this way if you wish.

Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has become very popular in recent years, due to its application in various fields, such as traumatology, sports medicine and aesthetic medicine. In dentistry it has been used for various treatments such as tooth extractions, dental implants or soft tissue grafts.

Growth factors make bone growth faster and of higher quality, apart from promoting soft tissue healing.

As advantages, we find several such as the faster integration of the implant in the bone, the lower risk of infections and the reduction of pain and inflammation.

At Dental Corbella we are pioneers in the application of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). First, a blood sample is obtained from the patient, which is processed in the centrifuge machine, which separates the platelets and growth factors from the rest of the components of the blood. Then, the platelet concentrate is applied to the area to be treated.
